Propulsid MDL Judge Dismisses 5 Plaintiffs' Class Allegations

NEW ORLEANS - The Propulsid MDL judge recently granted a defense motion to dismiss the class allegations in five plaintiffs' claims against Janssen Pharmaceutica and Johnson & Johnson for alleged injuries from its Propulsid (cisapride) heartburn medication. On March 13, Judge Eldon E. Fallon of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana granted the motion, opining that there is no reason to further delay the resolution of class issues.
