PHILADELPHIA - A Philadelphia judge dismissed a multi-plaintiff coordinated case against Wyeth for injuries allegedly suffered from its Effexor antidepressant medication, agreeing with the defendant that the 10 plaintiffs had failed to state a claim upon which relief could be granted. Baumgardner, et al. v. Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. No. 2:05-cv-05720, (E.D. Pa.).
Judge John P. Fullam of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania dismissed the case on Jan. 3.
