JOPLIN, Mo. - A Missouri jury recently found in favor of Wyeth in the case of woman who sued the company for heart valve injuries she allegedly suffered as a result of taking the company's Pondomin and Redux diet drugs. Weston v. Wyeth. No. 03CV679878 (Mo. Cir. Ct., Jasper Cty.)
The jury voted 9-3 in favor of Wyeth, sources told HarrisMartin.
Wyeth announced on Jan. 23 that the 29th Circuit Court in Joplin, Missouri, found in its favor following trial of Bonnie Weston's claims for heart valve injuries she allegedly suffered from Pondomin (fenfluramine hydrochloride) and Redux (dexfenfluramine) use.
