GAINESVILLE, Fla. - A Florida couple recently sued Novartis Pharmaceutical Corp., claiming its Aredia and Zometa cancer drugs caused the wife's jaw disease. Krause, et al. v. Novartis Pharmaceutical Corp. No. 1:06-cv-12 (N.D. Fla.).
Pamela and William Krause sued Novartis on Jan. 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, claiming that Pamela suffers from osteonecrosis of the jaw as a result of consuming Novartis' Aredia (pamidronate disodium) and Zometa (zoledronic acid) cancer drugs.
