CLEVELAND - An Ohio woman recently sued Johnson & Johnson and Ortho-McNeil, claiming that its Ortho Evra birth control patch caused her to suffer multiple blood clots at the age of 41. Cardoso v. Johnson & Johnson, et al. No. 5:05-cv-02781. (N.D. Ohio).
Rosaldina Cardoso sued J&J, Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical Inc., and Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research and Development on Dec. 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
