NEW ORLEANS -Janssen Pharmaceutica will pay at least $14.5 million to resolve all remaining state and federal lawsuits in the second MDL resolution program related to its Propulsid (cisapride) heartburn medication. In Re: Propulsid Products Liability Litigation. MDL No. 1355. Case No. 2:00-md-01355 (E.D. La.).

Judge Eldon E. Fallon of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana issued a consent order on Dec. 19.
