Judge Assigned to Coordinated Wright Hip Systems Docket in California

LOS ANGELES — A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has been assigned to preside over a coordinated docket of state court cases alleging injury caused by total hip replacement systems manufactured by Wright Medical Technology Inc. In Re: Wright Hip Systems Cases, JCCP No. 4710 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).

In a July 10 order, Judge Lee Smalley Edmon appointed Judge William F. Highberger to oversee JCCP 4710, the California coordinated docket that includes more than a dozen cases from four venues throughout the state.
