Philadelphia and Los Angeles Juries Find for Wyeth in 7 Diet Drug Lawsuits

PHILADELPHIA - Juries from Philadelphia and Los Angeles courts recently found in favor of Wyeth in seven diet drug cases.

The Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas juries found in favor of Wyeth in Lee Ann Brunson v. American Home Products, et al. (No. 021100575), Colleen Rondas v. Wyeth, et al. (No. 021201596) and Lonnie Zimmerman v. Wyeth, et al. (No. 021103652). Brunson, Rondas and Zimmerman had alleged heart valve injury from using Wyeth's Pondimin (fenfluramine hydrochloride) diet drug.
