MINNEAPOLIS - A federal magistrate judge on Oct. 11 denied Pfizer Inc.'s motion to strike a Minnesota woman's punitive damage claim and said the plaintiff only has to answer one of Pfizer's six interrogatories relating to punitive damages. Witczak v. Pfizer Inc. No. 04-2819 (D. Minn.).
Kimberly K. Witczak sued Pfizer Inc. in May 2004 in Minnesota's 4th Judicial District Court in Hennepin County. Her case was removed to the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota in June 2004.
