INDIANAPOLIS - Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp. urged an Indiana court to grant its motion for summary judgment on Sept. 16, saying an Indiana woman's medical records indicate she did not receive the company's Lotrel blood pressure medication. Powell v. Novartis Pharmaceutical Corp. No. 1:05-cv-1261-SEB-VSS (S.D. Ind.).
Inez Powell sued Novartis Pharmaceutical Corp., Methodist Hospital and Dr. John M. Miller in Marion County, Ind., Superior Court (No. 49D11-0504-CT-013981) on April 13. Her case was transferred to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana on Aug. 24.
