SEATTLE - Two Novartis entities were recently dismissed with prejudice from three lawsuits claiming injuries from the cold medication Tavist-D®. In re Phenylpropanolamine (PPA) Products Liability Litigation. MDL No. 1407 (W.D. Wash.).
Novartis AG and Novartis Corp. agreed to the dismissals 'without admitting or denying any issue....' District Judge Barbara J. Rothstein said the parties stipulated that Novartis Consumer Health has 45 days to file its response to the complaints if it hasn't already done so.
