Kansas Woman and Eli Lilly Reach Confidential Settlement in DES Lawsuit

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A Kansas woman settled for an unspecified amount with Eli Lilly & Co. on Aug. 17 for her alleged injuries from a pregnancy drug taken by her mother in the mid-1960s. Baughn v. Eli Lilly and Co., No. 03-2626-KHV (D. Kan.).
U.S. District Judge Kathryn H. Vratil said the case was terminated without prejudice, and any stipulations must be filed by Sept. 12.
