Pfizer's Motion for Summary Judgment Denied in Wrongful Death Case

LOS ANGELES - Pfizer Inc.'s motion for summary judgment was denied by a California judge on July 12 who said that there is nothing preventing the pharmaceutical company from strengthening the warning label on its antidepressant Zoloft. Szybinski v. Pfizer Inc. and Tejinderpal S. Rai, M.D. No. YC047439. (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
