ORLANDO - A Florida man sued Pfizer on May 4, claiming he became blind in one eye after consuming Viagra. Hall v. Pfizer Inc., No. 6:05-cv-667 (Cir. Ct. Fla.).
Plaintiff David Hall contends that he suffered 'permanent and complete vision loss in one eye' after ingesting Viagra (sildenafil citrate) for an unspecified time.
He seeks damages for negligence, strict product liability for failure to warn and for a defective product, breach of express warranty, fraudulent concealment and suppression, intentional misrepresentation and fraud, negligent misrepresentation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
