Pharmaceutical Companies Remove Flomax Case

MARSHALL, Texas - Pharmaceutical defendants have recently removed from state to federal court a lawsuit by a Texas man who alleges injuries from ingesting the prostrate medication Flomax. Ginn v. Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals Inc., et al. No. 2:05-cv-158 (E. Dist. Texas.).
Boehringer Ingelheim and other defendants filed a notice of removal to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas from the 276th Judicial District Court of Morris County, Texas, citing complete diversity of citizenship and an amount exceeding $75,000.
