Accutane Cases Coordinated, Transferred to Middle District of Florida

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has found sufficient common questions of fact among seven Accutane cases to order them coordinated and transferred to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. In re Accutane Products Liability Litigation, No. MDL 1626 (M.D. Fla.).
The panel noted in its Nov. 1 order that three of the seven cases were pending in the Middle District of Florida court, so the only cases requiring transfer were three cases from the Eastern District of Texas and one case from the Southern District of Indiana.
