ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - New Jersey Superior Court Judge Carol E. Higbee has named the law firms of Seeger Weiss and Anapol, Schwartz, Weiss, Cohan, Feldman and Smalley as co-liaison counsel in the state's coordinated Vioxx litigation. In re Vioxx® Litigation, No. 619 (N.J. Super. Law Div., Atlantic Cty.).
Judge Higbee noted in her Aug. 27 order that Seeger Weiss, a New York firm, and Anapol Schwartz, which has offices in Philadelphia and Cherry Hill, N.J., represent plaintiffs in the majority of the 156 Vioxx cases assigned to Judge Higbee's court to date.
