MIAMI -- Pfizer subsidiary Parke-Davis Co. used cash payments and travel and Olympics tickets as incentives for doctors to provide the company with access to patient records in efforts to promote their drug Neurontin, a recently filed class action lawsuit contends. Medero, et al. v. Pfizer, Inc., et al., No. n/a (Fla. Cir. Ct., Dade Cty.).
In a class action lawsuit filed in August in the Florida Judicial Circuit Court for Dade County, the plaintiffs claim that the defendant marketed the anti-epilepsy drug in violation of regulatory standards.
