WILMINGTON, Del. -- A Delaware Superior Court has denied a defendants' motion to exclude expert testimony, ruling that epidemiological studies are not required as a threshold for the admission of an expert opinion. Long, et al. v. Weider Nutrition, et al., No. 00C-12-249 MMJ (Del. Super. Ct., New Castle Cty.).

In a June 25 decision, Judge Mary M. Johnston of the New Castle County Superior Court denied the defendants' motion to exclude the opinions of the plaintiffs' experts on causation issues under the standards set in Daubert v.
