Rezulin MDL Judge Dismisses 165 Cases for Failure to Comply with Pretrial Orders

NEW YORK - Plaintiffs involved in 165 Rezulin-related injury suits had their cases dismissed with prejudice on June 21 by a federal judge who found their failure to submit complete and timely fact sheets as ordered was done in bad faith. In re: Rezulin Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1348 (S.D. N.Y.).

U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan issued an injunction under the All Writs Act enjoining the plaintiffs and their counsel from filing new suits in state and federal court.
