SOUTH BEND, Ind. - An Indiana man is suing the manufacturer of Trim Spa, claiming that he suffered a hemorrhagic stroke after using the ephedra-containing dietary supplement everyday for one month. Hintz v. Goen Technologies, et al. No. 04-CV-228 (N.D. Ind.).
Plaintiff David Hintz alleges in his March 26 complaint that Goen Technologies manufactured a defective product and failed to supply the supplement with adequate warnings regarding its side effects.
