NORFOLK, Va. - A federal judge remanded a woman's lawsuit against Eli Lilly and AstraZeneca after finding that she could pursue claims against the physicians who prescribed Zyprexa and Seroquel to her deceased mother. Wright v. Eli Lilly & Co., et al. No. 03-CV-888 (E.D. Va.).
U.S. District Judge Henry Coke Morgan ruled March 22 that plaintiff Carol Wright's allegations against three Virginia corporations and two individual physicians satisfied the state's pleading requirements.
