GRETNA, La. - A Louisiana man's personal injury claims Sidmark Laboratories Inc. were reinstated by the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, which found that the generic Trazodone manufacturer did not present evidence showing that its warning was sufficient. Kampmann v. Dr. Helen Mason and Josephine Hambacher. No. 05-CA-423 (La. Ct. App., 5th Cir.).
The appeals court panel reversed an award of summary judgment in favor of Sidmark on Jan. 17, reinstating Rock Kampmann's claim against his physician, Dr. Helen Mason, his pharmacist, Josephine Hambacher, and manufacturer Sidmark Laboratories.
