BALTIMORE — Citing a 2007 pleading from Indiana in which Biomet claimed to have an agreement with a local distributor to market, promote and sell its product, a federal judge in Maryland has rejected the hip implant manufacturer’s fraudulent joinder argument and remanded an M2a Magnum hip implant case to state court. Harris v. Biomet Orthopaedics, et al., No. 12-575 (D. Md.).
