Ala. Man Claims Generic Prozac Caused Daughter's Suicide

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - An Alabama man is suing Prozac (fluoxetine) manufacturer Eli Lilly as well as a number of other companies that manufacture generic versions of the antidepressant, claiming that his daughter's ingestion of the drug caused her to commit suicide.
