NEW ORLEANS - Merck was awarded summary judgment in a case filed by a man who claimed Zocor was unreasonably dangerous because his use of the cholesterol-lowering drug caused him to suffer rhabdomyolysis, after a federal judge found the man could not proffer expert testimony to support his allegations.
