Trial Set to Begin in Third-Party Payor MDL Actions Against Valsartan Drug Makers

TRENTON, N.J. — Trial is set to begin in the MDL for actions in which third-party payors (TPPs) seek reimbursement from the makers of valsartan-containing drugs, which the plaintiffs say were adulterated and therefore illegal to have been sold.

The trial will take place before Judge Robert Kugler of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

MSP Recovery Claims, Series LLC is the class representative which seeks to recover on behalf of numerous TPPs under claims for express and implied breach of warranty, common law fraud, and violations of consumer protection statutes.
