DENVER - A jury verdict awarded to Accutane manufacturer Hoffman-La Roche in a case filed by a woman who claimed her use of the acne medication caused her to suffer depression was upheld Dec. 3 by the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Carla Gray v. Hoffman-La Roche, Inc., No. 02-7079 (10th Cir.).
In an unpublished decision, federal appeals court found that the trial court did not err in sustaining Roche's objections to questions plaintiff Carla Gray asked her treating physician, as well as the defendant's expert, Dr. Lorraine Gudas, during the course of the trial.
