SEATTLE - A federal judge refused to certify a proposed economic injury class for individuals who purchased products containing PPA in Kentucky, finding that the identification of potential class members' injuries required too many individualized inquiries. U.S. District Judge Barbara Rothstein's Nov. 5 order stated that the proposed class shared the same problems with manageability as the nationwide economic injury class that she denied certification for on Feb. 7.
