AKRON, Ohio - The plaintiffs in the federal multidistrict litigation involving Meridia-related injuries filed a memorandum in support of their motion for class certification stating that the proposed subclasses meet the requirements of Federal Rules for Civil Procedure 23. In re: Meridia Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1481 (N.D. Ohio, Eastern Div.).
The plaintiffs contend that the proposed personal injury class, medical monitoring class, and consumer fraud refund class meet all four requirements established Fed. R. Civ.
