BATON ROUGE, La. - In removing to federal court a wrongful death suit filed by a woman who claims Prempro caused her mother to develop breast cancer, Wyeth argued the Fifth Circuit held that claims for wrongful death exceed the jurisdictional amount of $75,000. Trinia Plummer v. Wyeth-Ayerst Pharmaceuticals, No. 03-657-D-M3 (M.D. La.).
