He is the author of numerous studies analyzing the efficacy of antidepressants including "Listening to Prozac but Hearing Placebo: A Meta-Analysis of Antidepressant Medication," which was published in the June 26,1998, issue of Prevention and Treatment, and "The Emperor's New Drugs: An Analysis of Antidepressant Medication Data Submitted to the US Food and Drug Administration," which appeared in the July 15, 2002, issue of the same publication.
