ARTICLE: Breast Cancer and Hormone Replacement Therapy in the Million Women Study
SUMMARY: A study designed to investigate the effects of specific types of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) on incident and fatal breast cancer. Researchers tracked the progress of 1,084,110 women in the UK aged 50 to 64 years between 1996 and 2001. Half of the women had used either estrogen-only or estrogen plus progestin forms of HRT.
