LOS ANGELES - A federal judge remanded a suit filed against Avandia-manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline by 24 plaintiffs, who allegedly sustained injuries after using the diabetes drug, after finding that the case was improperly removed. Frank Dietz, et al., v. Nina Singh, M.D., et al., No. 03-CV-04949-TJH (RCx) (C.D. Calif., Western Div.).

U.S. District Judge Terry J. Hatter, Jr.'s one-page order remanded the proceedings to the Los Angeles County Superior Court.. The July 30 order simply stated that "the court has determined that the matter was improperly removed."
