Six OxyContin Injury Cases Recently Dismissed with Prejudice Brings Total to 36

STAMFORD, Conn. - Six cases filed against Purdue Pharma involving injuries allegedly caused by OxyContin were recently dismissed with prejudice bringing the total number of dismissals to 36, the manufacturer of the prescription pain reliever announced.
According to a July 31 press release issued by Purdue Pharma, the six cases, which were proceeding in federal courts in Florida and West Virginia and various state courts in Mississippi, were dismissed with prejudice in June and July.
