Maine Couple File Suit Against Manufacturer of Nasal Spray Painkiller

PORTLAND, Maine - Bristol-Myers Squibb, the company that makes Stadol, was allegedly negligent in manufacturing the nasal spray painkiller, according to a suit filed by a man who claims that he sustained injuries as a result of using the drug. Keith A. Demers and Audrey Demers v. Bristol-Myers Squibb, Co., No. 2:03-CV-00194-DBH (D. Maine).
In a complaint docketed Aug. 18, plaintiff Keith Demers' three-count suit states that the drug maker breached the duty it owed to consumers to design, test, manufacture, promote, warn of dangers, sell, and distribute Stadol in a reasonable manner.
