Injuries Allegedly Caused by Next Generation Diabetes Drug Spur Growing Litigation

Within the past month, a rising number of diabetes patients have filed suit against GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) for injuries they allegedly sustained as a result of using Avandia.
The plaintiffs, who are seeking unspecified amounts in damages, claim that GSK failed to adequately warn consumers and physicians of the potential dangers of the drug.
