NEW YORK - The federal court in New York overseeing Rezulin multidistrict litigation has set forth guidelines to ensure that certain documents produced by clinical investigators for defendants that are marked confidential will be afforded adequate protection. In re: Rezulin Products Liability Litigation (MDL 1348), No. 00cv2843 (S.D. N.Y.).
The Feb. 13 order outlines similar requirements for the handling of such documents as Pretrial Order No. 49, which addressed the confidentiality of third party documents.
