MDL Judge Designates Two Suits to Represent Proposed Class Action Claims

CHARLESTON, W.V. - U.S. District Judge Joseph R. Goodwin recently designated two proposed class action suits to represent all individuals seeking to join a putative class of plaintiffs who were injured as a result of using the antidepressant Serzone. In re: Serzone Products Liability Litigation , MDL No. 1477 (S.D.W.V.)
In a pretrial order entered on June 5, Judge Goodwin dismissed the class action claims of 11 suits already in the MDL and all class action suits that are pending transfer to the court.
