Parties Reach Settlement in Alabama Suit Alleging Rezulin-Related Heart Injuries

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - A suit claiming that a woman's death and another man's injuries were caused by their ingestion of Rezulin was resolved as the parties agreed to settle the case for an undisclosed sum. Letishia Bennett, et al., v. Warner-Lambert, Co., et al., No. N/A (Ala. Cir. Ct., Montgomery Cty.).
According to sources, the case was scheduled to go to trial on June 23 in the Montgomery County Circuit Court.
