JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - A woman who allegedly became addicted to Stadol, a migraine medication sold in nasal spray form, recently settled her federal products liability lawsuit against Bristol-Myers Squibb, the manufacturer of the drug. Brenda Gardner v. Bristol-Myers Squibb, Co., No. 02-04011-CV-C-5 (W.D. Mo., Central Div.).
The parties agreed to the terms of the confidential settlement before the case was scheduled to go to trial on May 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, according to plaintiff's attorney Tim Van Ronzelen of Cook, Vetter, Doerhoff & Landwehr, P.C., in Jefferson City, Mo.
