MONTGOMERY, Ala. - A trial court ruled correctly when it refused to allow a man to amend his complaint to include claims of unjust enrichment against the maker of Ex-Lax after the court had already decided that he could not recover damages based on his breach of implied warranties of merchantability and fitness claims, the Alabama Supreme Court found.
