SOUTH BEND, Ind. — An Indiana federal judge has dismissed Wright Medical Technology and Wright Medical Group N.V. from a Profemur hip implant action, ruling that the plaintiffs failed to establish specific or general jurisdiction over those defendants.
In an Oct. 21 order, Judge Damon R. Leichty of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana found the companies did not purposely avail themselves of Indiana law and were not “at home” in the state.
