CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Less than two months after a Texas jury found in favor of the defendant-manufacturer in the nation's first Baycol trial, the plaintiffs in that case have filed a new lawsuit against Bayer AG, the manufacturer's German branch, GlaxoSmithKline, and two Glaxo sales representatives. Hollis W. Haltom, et al., v. Bayer AG, et al., No. 0360788000-1(Texas Cty. Ct. at Law, Nueces Cty. No. 4).
The suit, filed May 2 in Nueces County Court at Law No. 4, alleges that samples of Baycol that were given to the plaintiff's physician, and eventually caused plaintiff Hollis Haltom to suffer …
