Spanish Plaintiffs to Appeal Dismissal of Claims from DePuy ASR Hip MDL Docket

CLEVELAND — A group of Spanish plaintiffs plan to appeal an Ohio federal judge’s dismissal of their claims from the DePuy ASR hip multidistrict litigation docket for forum non conveniens.

According to a May 29 notice of appeal, the 6th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals will review a ruling in which the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio determined that the claims should be tried in Spain.
