Stryker Denied Summary Judgment in Tenn. Federal Stabilizer Plate Action

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Tennessee federal judge has refused to award Stryker Corp. summary judgment in a case involving stabilizer plates, ruling that further discovery is needed to determine whether the manufacturer supplied the devices at issue.

In a May 3 order, Magistrate Judge Tu M. Pham of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee concluded that Stryker’s motion for summary judgment is premature.
