Annual 10-K Report Says Boston Scientific Conditionally Plans to Settle 50,000 Transvaginal Mesh Cases

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — In its annual report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Boston Scientific Corp. has announced that it has settled, or is in the process of settling, 50,000 of the 53,000 transvaginal mesh cases and claims against it.

According to its 10-K report for 2018, the master settlement agreements in principle provide that settlement “is conditional upon, among other things, achieving minimum required claimant participation thresholds.”
