DETROIT — A Michigan federal judge has refused to reconsider her denial of Medtronic’s summary judgment motion in a case accusing it of fraudulently misrepresenting the safety of a spinal cord stimulator to a patient with known latex and rubber allergies.
In a Dec. 10 order, Judge Nancy Edmunds of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Michigan said Medtronic’s motion for reconsideration “is merely an attempt to relitigate the same issue that was before the court at the time it considered Medtronic’s motion for summary judgment.”
