Confidential Settlement Reached in Stryker LFIT CoCr V40 Femoral Heads MDL

BOSTON — The Massachusetts federal judge overseeing the Stryker LFIT CoCr V40 Femoral Heads hip implant multidistrict litigation has stayed the litigation pending finalization of a confidential settlement agreement.

According to the Nov. 2 order issued by Judge Indira Talwani of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, “the parties have reached a confidential settlement agreement to resolve the claims of certain eligible patients who had surgery to replace their LFIT CoCr V40TM femoral head along with related hip system components.”
