N.J. High Court Refuses to Review Reversal of $25.1 Million Accutane Verdict

NEWARK, N.J. — The New Jersey Supreme Court will not review an appellate court’s reversal of a $25.1 million Accutane verdict in a case in which an Alabama man claims the acne drug caused his inflammatory bowel disease.
Pursuant to an order released on July 23, the plaintiff’s failure-to-warn claims will be retried in the Atlantic County Superior Court on the issues of causation and learned intermediary.
